WIA Research

Sources & Methodology

This research was conducted using AI deep research tools cross-referenced against primary documents. No single source was relied upon in isolation - findings were verified across multiple independent tools and checked against first-party records.

Methodology

Research was conducted using three AI deep research tools in parallel, each independently surveying Michigan HOA law, covenant enforcement, MRTA, and nonprofit governance. Findings were cross-referenced across all three tools to identify consensus and flag discrepancies. Key claims were then verified against primary documents - county records, LARA filings, the WIA's own published documents, and direct correspondence - to ensure accuracy before inclusion in this report. The 1946 original restrictions (Liber 2005, Pages 262-266) and 1956 assignment (Liber 3512, Pages 620-621) were subsequently obtained from Oakland County and compared against the 1976 website PDF.
